My first race is two weeks away tommorow. Unfortunatly my training has been interrupted by a nasty chest infection. It seems to have blown over though so I’m ready to hit the road again tommorow.
Between now and the race I’ve decided to increase my speed but not to let my distance exceed 7k (the length of the race). I’ve also decided to stick to the flat waterfront route that I occasionally take, the race is flat so why waste energy running up hills before hand.
On the positive side a local running shoe store is relocating so they’re reducing their prices. I hope I can pick up a few more pairs of asics 1070s before the sale’s over.
